32 Degrees and Still Beautiful!

Photographing cousins is always fun and Ariel & Shilo were no different. Ariel is from Missouri and Shilo is from Texas. Sunday evening, we visited downtown Waynesville to get some pictures of the two of them during Christmas break. It was a whopping 32 freezing degrees, but the girls were amazing! They are so beautiful and I really enjoyed our time together. Thanks Shilo & Ariel!

And Ariel and I got right back into this weather this morning with her husband Gary. We had an early session in some more freezing weather. I think it made them more cuddly! I absolutely loved photographing Ariel & Gary. They never seemed to quit smiling the whole time and just loved being with eachother. Love love love these!

Beautiful Chelsea....

So I have not kept up with my blogging! Sorry to you all! But, I was able to photograph Chelsea and Josh's wedding this weekend. I had such a blast with the family and friends of the couple. I even got to learn a few things from her Aunt who is also a photographer.

I took their engagement photos a couple of months ago and cannot believe how fast their wedding came! Here are a few previews while I finish the rest. Thank you Hanson's and Coble's for such a great Saturday! Leave us some love by clicking comments below!

Kinder Family

Kinders! Your preview is ready!

What a fun way to spend my Saturday afternoon!

1. I had dancers in the background while I was photographing the little ones.
2. We turned the radio on in one of the vehicles to entertain.
3. They even climbed up in the barn and looked out the loft.

You all don't know what you missed! They even cooked me dinner! (I kind of just stuck around so they had to feed me!)

That's my red-headed brother Colt in the family picture, so this family is very close to my heart. Thanks for being patient with me guys!!

Love is Family...

Love. Comfort. Family....

I love family. We make our traditions, pass them along, and live life fully with eachother. I honestly love photographing families. Their interactions and joy with eachother.

We got a few shots in Friday evening, but then the rain started. We got the important "family" shots in before the sprinkling began. We finished with the kiddos on Saturday morning. I had a great time with Clabe & Ripley and Wilson, Winter, and Elin. They had the cutest outfits and did quite well with my little treats!

She even cooked me dinner after our family session! We spend Saturday afternoon in downtown Crocker. It is an adorable town with lots of history!

Thanks Scaggs family for such a great time! Love you guys!

More Seniors!

I love photographing Seniors at this stage of their lives. They are in their last year of highschool and will soon enter the workforce or continue their education at a higher level. I love to join the Seniors at the place of their choice to document their senior year just they way they lived it.
This week I photographed Dustina at the highschool. We had such a blast traveling through the school. I hadn't been in some parts since I graduated! That's about 5 years! Time flies and that is what makes senior portraits more important than ever.
Anyway, on with the pictures. You're going to love these! I hope Dustina and her parents love them too. Dustina was so easy to photograph and she was so in style!

Paige-Senior 2010

Paige is an absolutely awesome Senior. After thinking about a good location for her senior portraits, we finally decided on Montauk. It turned out to be the perfect location! The weather was great, which was surprising! Barely missed all this rain!

Here's a little preview. Thank you Paige for choosing me as your photographer! I had a great time and can't wait to show you the rest!

Lauren, Evan, & Josie

I had such a blast today with Lauren, Evan, and Josie. Such a great way to celebrate Labor Day! We traveled to a farm home where we took a ton of pictures! They even brought their old John Deere tractor! I love using family's props that make their photos unique to them. I truly loved today's session. Thank you Gifford Family and here's a few pictures to preview! You can view the entire session when I'm finished with them at Sugar Maple Photo.

Barb & Bobby

This weekend, I spend my Saturday at a little chapel just past Salem with Barb & Bobby. When I made it to the chapel, it was raining, but by the time the ladies made it, it had cleared up and ending up being an amazing day! So here is a little preview for you all! When I finish editing them all, you can view them at Sugar Maple Photo

Lyndsey's Shower!

Last Sunday, we had Lyndsey's bridal shower and celebrated with a brunch. We were at my grandparent-in-law's cabin just outside of Licking. It was an absolutely gorgeous day. Perfect weather. We had a buffet table of scrumptious food, cinnamon rolls, muffins, mini quiche, a coffee roll, and delicious mimosas!

We decorated the tables with fresh flowers from Rhonda Kirkwood's garden and white table cloths.

It was an absolutely awesome shower! Thank you for everyone who helped and everyone who came!

You can see the rest of the shower pictures at my photography website: Sugar Maple Photo

Parker & Payton

Usually on Sundays, I lounge around as long as possible before putting my church clothes on. But today I got up a little earlier than normal. I took my time, drank my coffee, then got my camera gear together and drove a mile or so to see two of the cutest boys ever!

Parker and Payton spend the weekend with their grandparents here in Licking. We spent the morning roaming around their yard finding some really great places to take pictures. Here is a little preview of what is to come. They were really great boys and I loved spending some of my morning with them. You can see their whole session at Sugar Maple Photo once I get them all finished!

And yes, I made it to church on time!
