Addison was just a few days old when I photographed her as a newborn. She was my first newborn to photograph and I have loved taking her picture as she has grown! She will be 1 year old this week and I absolutely loved her birthday session. She is such a beautiful happy baby. Look how cute she is!!
I am an on-location photographer in Licking, MO. I am so excited to photograph your babies and children, families, weddings, and maternity portraits.

Pearcy is 4!
Pearcy is my little niece. I've never met a little girl quite like her. She has an amazing personality. She is very active and says all kinds of crazy things. I just love her! We went downtown to do her birthday pictures. It was soooo cold! But she did great and we got some amazing photos! Here's a few for you all to see!

Weddings!
I just love weddings and I love to photograph them. I love the details that every bride puts into her wedding no matter how big or how small. In just 6 short months, we'll be right in the middle of the wedding season. If you're planning on getting married this year, it is time to get planning.
Start with Wedding Wire. It's an online checklist to help you create your custom wedding checklist and stay on task! (thats what the website says!) It is absolutely awesome!
Then, there's I Do Originals. They have absolutely excellent ways to make your wedding day original and not like anyone else's. And they are very inexpensive compared to other personalized websites.
My very favorite website is Etsy! It features all things handmade. You can easily find something you can make and sell them from home. It is very easy to get started and a perfect way to make some extra money. You can also buy all kinds of things for yourself or as gifts for others!
Good luck with your planning and I'll be posting some of the hottest trends for this year!

Back from Nashville!
This past week I went to Nashville for Imaging USA. Imaging USA is a conference for photographers put on by an organization called Professional Photograhers of America. We spent 3 days in conferences learning from other fellow photographers from around the country. My very supportive husband, Evan, went with me. He attended all of the sessions with me and was so encouraging! I can't wait to share what I've learned with you all. And I'll be incorporating some awesome new products! I'll keep you posted, don't worry!
It's the beginning of a new year and I always try to think of what I'm thankful of. I think we sometimes get wrapped up in all that we're involved in and forget to take a look around ourselves. I am so thankful for #1: a loving and forgiving lord; #2:a supportive husband and family; and #3: such great clients and friends.
So thank you to you all who have supported me during 2009. I have been in my photography business for 1 year!!

I have always loved photography since I can remember. It took my mom reminding me of that when I mentioned I wanted to get into photography as a business. She said I've always had a camera in my hand. She used to have a Polaroid Captiva.

It keeps the picture in the back after you take it. I swore it was the coolest invention ever!! Then in grade school some girls and I traded Izone cameras. We each bought one and traded it for a Christmas gift. I was in love with this camera! I used it all the time and couldn't believe it when the makers came up with sticky film. You could stick it on your notebooks, desks, or anything!

(The sad thing is I just saw that this was out in 1999! That's 11 years ago!!)
Well, I must get some stuff ready for tomorrow! I am reuniting with 2 of my old business partners, Janell of Duncan Photography and Scott Kimrey who specializes in landscape photography and portraits, for the Licking Elementary Tournament. This is the second year we've provided team and individual pictures for the players and we've really enjoyed working together!
Have a great night!

32 Degrees and Still Beautiful!
Photographing cousins is always fun and Ariel & Shilo were no different. Ariel is from Missouri and Shilo is from Texas. Sunday evening, we visited downtown Waynesville to get some pictures of the two of them during Christmas break. It was a whopping 32 freezing degrees, but the girls were amazing! They are so beautiful and I really enjoyed our time together. Thanks Shilo & Ariel!

And Ariel and I got right back into this weather this morning with her husband Gary. We had an early session in some more freezing weather. I think it made them more cuddly! I absolutely loved photographing Ariel & Gary. They never seemed to quit smiling the whole time and just loved being with eachother. Love love love these!

Beautiful Chelsea....
So I have not kept up with my blogging! Sorry to you all! But, I was able to photograph Chelsea and Josh's wedding this weekend. I had such a blast with the family and friends of the couple. I even got to learn a few things from her Aunt who is also a photographer.
I took their engagement photos a couple of months ago and cannot believe how fast their wedding came! Here are a few previews while I finish the rest. Thank you Hanson's and Coble's for such a great Saturday! Leave us some love by clicking comments below!

Kinder Family
Kinders! Your preview is ready!
What a fun way to spend my Saturday afternoon!
1. I had dancers in the background while I was photographing the little ones.
2. We turned the radio on in one of the vehicles to entertain.
3. They even climbed up in the barn and looked out the loft.
You all don't know what you missed! They even cooked me dinner! (I kind of just stuck around so they had to feed me!)
That's my red-headed brother Colt in the family picture, so this family is very close to my heart. Thanks for being patient with me guys!!
