New for 2010

Ok, so I'm a little late with my resolutions!  But, it couldn't have come at a better time. After going to a photography conference in Nashville, TN, I have decided to make some changes in my business.  These changes will be better for you and me.  Making my life a little easier since I still work full time as an x-ray tech.  (My husband just doesn't understand that I should be a stay at home wife, lol.)

I will no longer be offering packages of portrait sessions.  There will be just one.  It is $75 and includes 20 proofs in a spiral bound proof book and in an online gallery.  This allows me to get your proofs to you quicker, woohoo!  It also allows me to give you the best portraits of you and  your family.

With the portrait sessions, especially babies, children, and seniors, I will be offering custom designed albums.  They are still in the creating phase, so I will elaborate on these more later, but let me tell you, they are AWESOME!!  I am currently working on a sample album and will have the pricing on these soon.

For WEDDINGS!  I am so excited to make changes to the wedding side of my business.  I am currently only offering one wedding package.  For $700, you will receive 8-10 hours of coverage including getting ready time, bridal party and family portraits, ceremony, and reception.

Within 1-2 weeks, your proofs will be posted in an online gallery on my website.  You will also be receiving a press-printed proof album of your images.  This is a hard covered book of the images of your wedding.  The images are printed on the actual pages with about 6 images per page.

An engagement session is also included in my wedding packages.  We will choose a location that reflects the style and relationship of the bride and groom.  With the engagement session your proofs will be posted online and a proof book can be purchased separately for $45.  "The Guest Book"  is an additional item the bride and groom can purchase and includes images from their portrait session in a hard covered book.  The images are placed one per page and blank space is left around the photo.  This allows guests to leave a message for the bride and groom instead of simply writing their name.

Whew.... almost finished!  I just want to give brides all the info they need!

If the bride and groom wishes, I will create a custom wedding album that includes many of the pictures from the wedding.  It probably won't include every picture, but more of the "emotional" ones.  I am also still working on this as well, so stay with me and keep checking on that!

Anyway,  thats the new news in my life!  I am pretty much engulfed in photography and am constantly educating myself so that I can be the best photographer possible. Thank you for all of my readers and customers!  I love you all and couldn't be the photographer I am today without you!

Paige-Senior 2010

Paige is an absolutely awesome Senior. After thinking about a good location for her senior portraits, we finally decided on Montauk. It turned out to be the perfect location! The weather was great, which was surprising! Barely missed all this rain!

Here's a little preview. Thank you Paige for choosing me as your photographer! I had a great time and can't wait to show you the rest!

Lauren, Evan, & Josie

I had such a blast today with Lauren, Evan, and Josie. Such a great way to celebrate Labor Day! We traveled to a farm home where we took a ton of pictures! They even brought their old John Deere tractor! I love using family's props that make their photos unique to them. I truly loved today's session. Thank you Gifford Family and here's a few pictures to preview! You can view the entire session when I'm finished with them at Sugar Maple Photo.

Barb & Bobby

This weekend, I spend my Saturday at a little chapel just past Salem with Barb & Bobby. When I made it to the chapel, it was raining, but by the time the ladies made it, it had cleared up and ending up being an amazing day! So here is a little preview for you all! When I finish editing them all, you can view them at Sugar Maple Photo

Lyndsey's Shower!

Last Sunday, we had Lyndsey's bridal shower and celebrated with a brunch. We were at my grandparent-in-law's cabin just outside of Licking. It was an absolutely gorgeous day. Perfect weather. We had a buffet table of scrumptious food, cinnamon rolls, muffins, mini quiche, a coffee roll, and delicious mimosas!

We decorated the tables with fresh flowers from Rhonda Kirkwood's garden and white table cloths.

It was an absolutely awesome shower! Thank you for everyone who helped and everyone who came!

You can see the rest of the shower pictures at my photography website: Sugar Maple Photo

Parker & Payton

Usually on Sundays, I lounge around as long as possible before putting my church clothes on. But today I got up a little earlier than normal. I took my time, drank my coffee, then got my camera gear together and drove a mile or so to see two of the cutest boys ever!

Parker and Payton spend the weekend with their grandparents here in Licking. We spent the morning roaming around their yard finding some really great places to take pictures. Here is a little preview of what is to come. They were really great boys and I loved spending some of my morning with them. You can see their whole session at Sugar Maple Photo once I get them all finished!

And yes, I made it to church on time!

Here is a quick preview of Kenlee's 3 yr old pictures! We're about a month late taking them, but she is so beautiful; it wouldn't matter when we took them! Thank you Lyndsey for letting me capture this time of her life! I can't wait to take more! Happy Birthday Kenlee!
